Employees of Class-I to Class-II of the Finance Department of the Government are given Nimashank in five years fixed salary. Such employees are currently given (1) 15 SPECIAL leave in a year from reference-3, which can accumulate a maximum of thirty leave and (3) ten days of full pay for the purpose of meditation during reference-3 year.
Twenty paychecks of half pay are payable, which is also Carry Forward ahead of regular appointments. Currently, in the disaster of CORONA VIRUS, all the employees of the department are constantly on duty, risking their lives. Some of these employees as well as their families have been infected because of them. In addition, the above leave is currently deducted for absenteeism from their office during the quarantine period, and the medical leave they receive is only available for their illness. As there has been a long delay in such approvals,
the Board has received representations in this regard. (1) To make special leave thirty per annum like regular full pay employee instead of fifteen and to make provision for carrying forward such leave also. (3) Medical leave should be provided only for the illness of the members falling under the definition of “government family” instead of just for their illness so that they can take proper care of their family members. (3) To delegate the authority to the competent authority in the same manner as is applicable in the case of a regular flower salaried employee in place of the Secretary of the Administrative Department concerned with Medical Leave approval so that the delay can be avoided.
